Get Out! Nature Walk

  • Rock Ridge Preserve Harris Road Cumberland, ME 04021 USA (map)

Join us at Rock Ridge for a walk to learn how to identify trees in the winter. The buds and bark give us clues. Prepare for sugaring season by learning how to identify a sugar maple, and there’s great snow for learning some tracks! This walk will be led by CCLT’s Executive Director, Chris Cabot.

In partnership with Royal River Conservation Trust, Get Out! Nature walks will resume following the Maine Master Naturalist Program’s protocols for safe walks which include all participants including the leading Naturalist must wear a face mask; groups are limited to 10 participants with RSVPs required; maintain 6ft apart; no shared equipment or materials; if needed materials will be emailed prior to the event; and please bring and use hand sanitizer at the beginning and end of each program.
