Rock Ridge Preserve surrounds a 15-lot subdivision off Harris Road in Cumberland. It is heavily wooded with a diversity of tree species including hemlock, birch, maple, beech, oak, pine, alder, and fir. It is also rich with wildlife. There are two established trails on the property. The Stream Trail, for foot traffic only, follows a stream through thick woods from Range Way to the Central Maine Power transmission line. The Rock Ridge Trail traverses higher ground and is somewhat longer. The southeast corner of the parcel is primarily wetland.
