Join us on Saturday, April 8th (9:00 AM to 11:00 AM) for a stewardship work session at Rock Ridge.
Please join us at Rock Ridge Preserve on Rock Ridge Road (off Harris Road) for a work session to spruce up the trail at this little used but beautiful preserve. We'll meet at the parking area and then hike the trails, cleaning up fallen sticks, blow-downs (if there are any) and trimming back overhanging branches. We'll also scout out some muddy trail sections and brainstorm on how to improve them later this year. CCLT will bring loppers, buck saws, a pole saw -- but feel free to bring your favorite too. Gloves and waterproof boots will be the recommended specialty clothing of the day. Questions? Please contact CCLT's Jonathan Dawson at steward@cccltmaine.org!
All ages and abilities are encouraged to come and participate!
A trailhead and small parking area is located on Rock Ridge Run next to the stream trail. Rock Ridge Run is off of Harris Road, roughly midway between Tuttle Road and Longwoods Road in Cumberland.
