Join us on Sunday, September 18th at 9:00am at Littlefield Woods on Chebeague Island for a free Birding Event! This event is hosted by the Chebeague and Cumberland Land Trust (CCLT) and led by Derek Lovitch of Wild Bird Supply.

Curriculum: Birding at Littlefield Woods and Indian Point

Directions: For those coming from the mainland, park at the Chebeague Island Transportation satellite lot on Route 1 and take the 7:45 a.m. bus to the ferry to Chebeague Island (ferry fare paid by attendee). Once you are on the island, CCLT will provide transportation to Littlefield Woods. From there, we will venture to Indian Point. After the birding event, lunch will be provided at Diane Lukac (CCLT board member) and Steve Silin’s home. You will be returned to the Chebeague ferry dock in time for the 2:00 ferry.

RSVP: The event is free, but an RSVP is required so that we know how many will join us for lunch. Please RSVP by September 11th, which is one week prior to the event.

*Photography and Filming Note: Your attendance at CCLT events may be photographed or filmed and your registration indicates consent to have any images or footage featuring you at the event to be used for CCLT-related materials and outreach. Should images or footage appear in marketing materials that you don’t wish to be featured in, you must notify CCLT at info@ccltmaine.org and CCLT will cease to further use your image or footage for any new materials going forward.
